The change of seasons has brought cool and dry weather. Dry weather usually means swapping out my skincare products, but for the first time in my life I am dealing with dry hair! My hair has been through bleach and color process twice in the last year, and after the second time it became a bit more crispy. It got worse as the air got drier so it was time to some new product. I was introduced to Davines (specifically the pink version of the Love line) from my Birchbox subscription. That one smelled AMAZING and it made my hair so soft and silky! Of course when you find something you love it always gets discontinued at some point... so I got the next best option- Davines NouNou Conditioner. This conditioner claims the following:

  • Nourishing conditioner for damaged or very dry hair
  • Ideal for bleached hair, with highlights, perm or relaxed
  • Designed to untangle treated hair, it also makes it soft and silky, giving it body
  • Does not weigh down the hair
  • Winner of Allure magazine's 2015 Best of Beauty Awards for damaged hair

I've used NouNou for about 2-3 weeks now and it's just not the same as the pink version of the Love line. NouNou isn't moisturizing enough-my hair still felt hard and a little bit sticky. Even after rinsing thoroughly there was still a residue that did not make my hair feel soft or silky. :( I'm quite disappointed since this was pricey! At $30 for 8.45 oz, that's $3.55 per oz!

If you still want to try this conditioner out, I would advise to get a sample size first. I got mine from the online Birchbox shop where I had accumulated some points to get $18 off.

Davines NouNou Conditioner did not work out for me, but if they brought back the pink love line I would be a loyal customer!
