Chosungah 22 Lip Tints Review

The holiday season is in full swing! It's Thanksgiving this week and I am SO excited for all the food I will be eating. Ham, sweet potatoes, pie... yuuuummmm. Food party galore!! When you're busy stuffing your face with all the amazing noms, the last thing you want to be concerned about is your lipstick, right? Never fear! Chosungah to the rescue! (Chosungah is a Korean makeup brand that can be found at Sephora!)

L: Chiffon, R: Velvet

Chosungah 22 Lip Tints are a "dual tint and gloss features a color that expresses vibrant color, and a lip gloss that leaves the lips hydrated. The long-lasting gel-based tint offers two different shades of rich, bold color. Infused with soothing cupuaçu butter, the gloss moisturizes and volumizes lips—even while on the go." The tints are available in 4 shades at Sephora: Velvet, Cashmere, Chiffon, and Lace. I purchased Velvet and Chiffon at $19 each.

The Chosungah 22 lip tints have a jelly like texture. Not too thick or sticky, but not too thin (like the benefit tints) where you have to worry about dripping. The gloss end is sticky, but I guess that's what makes them last as long as they do. I put these babies to the test! I wore the shade Chiffon as my every day lip color and was pleasantly surprised by its staying power. I applied it early in the morning before heading to work, and my lips were still just as vibrantly pink at the end of the night. Obviously, the gloss was almost gone after eating lunch, but the stain was still just as bright. Check out the swatches below. I tested out Velvet over the weekend to see if it had the same formula and the only difference was that Velvet bled more than Chiffon. You can see this in the second photo above. Chiffon is also a bit more forgiving if you have dry lips, but Velvet will cling to every nook and cranny so be sure to exfoliate! After double cleansing, my lips were still slightly stained!

I love these lip tints by Chosungah! They are long lasting and have the most beautiful pigment. My only gripe is that Velvet needs some lip liner to prevent the stain from bleeding outside your lip line. Since this shade is so bold, you definitely want it to look clean and precise. I found that using lip liner and a lip brush to apply the stain provided the best results. If you're looking for long lasting, beautiful color then definitely try these!
