February Favorites 2017
February was a month full of trying new things. I have a handful of favorites that I want to share so read on! Number 4™ Fluoro5 Elixer Restore & Repair Oil
In an earlier post (here) I mentioned how damaged and dry my hair became after getting it bleached twice in row. I just so happened to have a sample size bottle of N4’s hair oil and it turned my straw like hair into silk. I have really thick and coarse hair so I was surprised by how little product it took to make it soft and silky. I was so in love I ran to my husband after my shower and made him touch my hair over and over. Queue the Pantene hair commercial!
When I don’t have the time or patience to use my powder brow products, this is the pencil I reach for. I have it in the shade medium brown. It matches my natural hair color perfectly as I’m no longer blond. It goes on smooth and blends easily so it makes filling my brows a breeze. Perfect for those times you’re in a rush!
I’ve never tried a cream contour so I was very excited to get this at the Memebox Warehouse Sale (here). This is a very creamy consistency and blends like a dream. I love how the color is buildable so you can contour to your hearts desire. In the photo below you’ll see how it looks when first applied and then blended in.
Bukeela is usually my go to coffee and I am normally very apprehensive with trying the limited edition flavors, but I’m so glad I tried this 2014 one. I’m no coffee connoisseur, but 2014 is velvety smooth. It has a richer taste and pairs so nicely with my toast or something heavier for breakfast. It’s a nice change from the usual. It’s also a nice pink colored capsule… which looks super cute with my copper bukeela capsules. :)
Ready Player One
My husband and I listened to the audio book version of this during our drive down to L.A. This book was perfect since the drive was quite long and it helped to pass the time while cruising down the five. This book is about a teen that prefers life “online” and his adventure in an 80’s themed competition. I won’t say more, but it was a captivating story that had us on the edge of our seats. Ultra Man, you are a beast!!
