Fresh Simple Makeup- Monolid/Small Crease Friendly
Good Morning! Today I’ll be sharing one of my favorite makeup looks. It’s simple, fresh, and great for Asian eyes or eyes with really small creases. There are so many makeup looks for ‘Asian eyes,’ but they’re mostly monolids. It’s not too often you see ones for half monolids, small creases, or whatever you want to call it. The trick is to build up the color in layers and make sure to blend so you get a soft look. I always go with a light hand with my makeup application so if you’re not into heavy makeup, you’ll appreciate this!
On the face:
I’ve been testing out YSL’s CC Cream in the shade Rose so I applied that in the center parts of my face to brighten the area.
I mixed my Carezone BB Cream (read my review here) with Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation (read my review here) and applied it with my fingers all over my face. Can you see how well it blurs my pores and makes my skin SO glowy? I still can’t get over how amazing this looks! I didn't set with powder, but I would recommend doing so if you have oily skin.
For blush, I mixed my MUFE cream blush in shade 330 and my Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral, and dabbed it on my cheeks.
On the eyes:
I used Morphe’s Spiced Copper Palette and City Color’s Eyeshadow Trio. I don’t think these shades have names so I just numbered the ones I used.
#1 went all over the lid; #2 went on the outer corner of my eye (the “>” shape). I darkened up that corner again with shade #5 and blended everything with shade #3. I used #4 on the inner corners of my eye to give it a little sparkle.
Lashes are optional, but I find that they make a big difference. I used Velour’s Silk Lashes in Whispie Business and my trusty MAC gel liner in Blacktrack.
My eyebrows were filled using Makeup Forever’s Aqua Brow shade 25.
So that’s it for this simple, fresh, small crease/monolid/Asian eye look! I hope you enjoyed this and have a great week!
