I really need to come up with a better title for these types of posts, but if it's just for my personal enjoyment then it doesn't matter, right? Well, there's only 4 more months till the end of the year and I'm still working my way through my stash of products. I think I'm doing pretty well! I have a ton of samples to get through, but that should be easy... right? Here's what was emptied and mini reviews of each:
I got 2 bottles of this Bioglo ClearPore Deep Cleansing Peel Off Mask from my mom. I didn't really like it at first because it was pretty sticky and messy to apply, but it is pretty darn effective in pulling those filaments and hairs out. It's like getting a wax! I wouldn't go out and buy this though because it's pretty harsh on the skin. Oh right- I cut the bottle in half to get out the remaining product so that's why it looks all butchered.
I would not recommend purchasing this Dr. Jart Water Drop Moisturizer unless you are super super oily and like interesting textured products.
Looking at this I realized I haven't been as religious at sheet masking as I want to be. The BioRepublic Green Tea Detox mask took me by surprise. It was more hydrating and calming than I expected. The other standout was the MediHeal I.P.I LightMax Hydro Nude Gel Mask. It gave me baby butt soft skin and really brightened up my skin tone. The Nature Republic Ginseng and Aqua Masks were just mediocre.
Ooo la La Mer Moisturizing Gel Cream. Long story short- I would not purchase the full size. I reviewed the La Mer collection here .
This Laneige Multi Cleanser came as part of a gift set I received a while back. I've used this many years ago, but I have found better cleansers since then. Like this.
I've got to thank the husband for finishing this Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Watery Cream for me. The more I used this, the more I didn't like the fragrance and how it felt on my skin. Kevin, if you ever read this then you should know that you'll probably have really nice skin by the end of this year with all the products you'll be using.
Ok now this Real Chemistry 3- Minute Peel is pretty amazing. I have troubled skin on my back so I decided to try this out and holy moly it cleared it up! I think I got this from Birchbox? All the pigmentation and redness was 90% contained. I was really impressed with this! You can find this on Amazon.
The lesson I learned from these Skinae Pimple Patches is not all pimple patches are created equal. :( I actually used up the whole box of 200+ patches, but this happened to be the only wrapper I saved. These didn't stick well to my skin and adhered better to my pillow case/floor. :(
The Benton Snail Bee High Content Skin did nothing for me. I'm just glad it's finally empty so I don't have to keep using it. I did a full review here.
Su:m 37 Secret Essence! I'm already missing this one so much. I love love love this and cannot wait to get a new one. You can read my full review of it here if you're curious. I've only been purchasing this in person at the Duty Free shops so if anyone knows a reputable site that sells authentic ones please let me know.
I don't have too much to say about these makeup products. The Shu Eumera Hard Formula Brow Pencil was just too old so it needed to get tossed and the Colourpop Eyebrow Pencil was a very soft formula that I finished up. The Etude House Play 101 Pencil was super dried out so it need to go and the Peripera Cushion Lips was so drying.
