Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb Review

Well hello there Internet friends. It has been insanely hot this past week. 108 degree weather + shingles = a mother !@^*% nightmare.  Jon Snow, bring your winter! In other news I’ve been using the Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb everyday for the last 2 weeks. Yes, shingles did not stop me from using my eye cream. I was lucky I didn’t have any blisters below my eyes so I just kept using the eye cream for the sake of this review.

What It Is

An eye cream that fills in fine lines and provides 26 hours of moisture, boosts elasticity, and creates a smooth base for crease- free makeup application. You can purchase it from Sephora for $48.

Ingredient Analysis

No significantly harmful ingredients in this eye cream. COSDNA analysis ranks it low across the board for irritant, acne, and safety.

It may seem like I kind of jumped the gun on this since I’ve only used it for 2 weeks, but I felt a huge difference within the first few days of using this cream that I wanted to review it immediately.  I don’t have major under eye issues, but I started noticing some little lines and dryness, which is why I wanted to use this eye cream. Note- this product only addresses hydration, fine lines, and elasticity so it’s not for puffiness, bags, or other concerns!

First off, this eye cream has a very light, non-irritating, clean fragrance. It's a gel-creme texture that is extremely comfortable and absorbs easily into the skin. It did not cause any breakouts or milia- I was also using it on my smile lines and on the edges of my lips. Anti-aging, baby.

This cream is the most hydrating, non-oily, lightweight formula I’ve ever used.  All eye creams I’ve tried prior to this had zero effect and were not hydrating or too heavy. The moisture level in this is perfect and lasts all day and night, and my skin felt plumper around day 3 of using this cream. You know that saying “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone”?  Well, now I can feel and understand terminology like “elasticity” and “loss of firmness.”

I took a before and after photo so you can see the change in those little lines. It looks like the lines do get filled because the hydration plumps it up. We’ll see if these guys are due to dehydration or age. So far I’ve only got them under one eye, so hopefully my other one will be spared!

I also did another test where I applied concealer and powder on my under eye with and without the eye cream. I was kind of lazy and did everything with my finger, but you can still see a difference.

This eye cream is the bomb…. Ha ha ha. Ok, but really I do love this eye cream a lot and it’s the best one I’ve used so far. $48 well spent! I highly highly highly recommend this!!
