3CE Mood Recipe Blush and Lipstick Review
I’m all about nude makeup so when 3CE launched their Mood Recipe collection I literally went ga-ga and made sure it was one of the first things I picked up in Korea. I didn’t pick up every single product from the collection since I have some similar items at home so I got three lipsticks and three blushes. Let’s get into the mood!
What It Is
The Mood Recipe collection is a compilation of lipstick, blushes, eye shadow palettes, and nail polishes. They’re all varying shades of the nude, and are extremely flattering. 3CE doesn’t really provide any product claims on their website nor do they have an ingredient list so we’ll jump straight into how these products performed.
The lipsticks retail for $20 each and the blushes retail for $19.
I’ve gone through several matte lippies so I was surprised to find that this matte formula went on quite smoothly and didn’t dry out the lips. It didn’t have any strong fragrance or flavoring, which I really appreciate. With any matte formula you should make sure to exfoliate your lips prior to application to get the smoothest finish. This lipstick isn’t long lasting so regular touchups are needed.
Mirrorlike: A pinky MLBB
Hit Me Up: A burnt brick red
Step And Go: A burnt red
:( Accidentally crushed #222.
If you’ve been following me long enough you’ll know I have a weakness for blushes! My heart was aflutter when I swatched these matte beauties. They’re smooth, pigmented, and last all day.
Light baby pink
Warm dried rose
Lips: #222 Blush: #Nude Peach
Lips: #220 Blush: #Rose Beige
Lips: #218 Blush: #Monopink
I can’t get enough of this collection! All the shades are so flattering and beautiful, and you are sure to find something that works for you. I highly recommend this line if you love nude makeup!
